Thank you, sir! --girlvinyl 08:45, 13 Dec 2004 (PST)

I've added an e-mail address of mine. I originally set it up specifically to gather examples of the application of Godwin's Law. If I can gather enough material, I'll use it to expand on this article. --Aussieintn 20:40, 14 Dec 2004 (PST)

plz include the various corallaries as well. --Flata 20:50, 14 Dec 2004 (PST)

The latest version of this entry with the section on Godwin variations is great. --33mhz 21:17, 14 Dec 2004 (PST)

also needs a link to the godwin's law faq but i'm feeling fucking lazy A+ --Flata 21:22, 14 Dec 2004 (PST)

Godwin's Law FAQ. It ruins the fun, though. I'm not sure it should be included. Inevitably, it creates a whole new argument about Godwin's Law. You can call it Aussieintn's Corollary: any mention of the sources or original intention of Godwin's Law will inevitably lead to a pointlessly irresolvable and heated argument. --Aussieintn 21:31, 14 Dec 2004 (PST)

You know, suppressing information is something the nazis did. :D --33mhz 00:14, 15 Dec 2004 (PST)

Just for that, I've added Quirk's Exception --Aussieintn 18:16, 15 Dec 2004 (PST)

Adding a link to the 50 Hitler post would be awesome, if anyone happens to know of it. Dancingdrew 00:04, 16 Dec 2004 (PST)

I think we need a "pictures of hitler" article on here, devoted to pictures of Hitler. What do u guyz think? --Quasidan 13:23, 17 Feb 2005 (UTC)

Pythagoras' Theorem

This is still the funniest thing I've ever read on ED. Btw isn't it Pythagoras's? ~ Banaan 17:19, 1 Dec 2005 (UTC)

  • I believe with words that would end in two s', the s' can substitute for both. --WKD 21:15, 1 Dec 2005 (UTC)
    • no take a look here >> Jones's.. ~ Banaan 21:18, 1 Dec 2005 (UTC)
      • I'm sure I heard that somewhere, like at an academic writing course at university. Of course, my memory is alcohol scarred, so ask Aussieintn or whatever his name is. He'll know. --WKD 21:27, 1 Dec 2005 (UTC)
        • Banaan is right, it can only be replaced by a single apostrophe when the word is in its plural form. Pythagoras is the name of a person, therefore, it's singular and needs the 's. ~ Grammar Nazi hi yo~23:05, 1 Dec 2005 (UTC)
