Musicals.net. How to begin? The drama, so intense, so long-lasting, and so totally silly.

The moderators

The mods are a source of much recent drama. Although they have all worked hard to implement a posting policy that is fair to everybody (and, indeed, more lenient toward the members than the owner of the board has advised), it has arisen from time to time that some members have trouble respecting authority of any kind, leading to eruptions against the moderators.

But who ARE the mods?

• Beagle On Stage - The wannabe-sexy mod. Is an almost universally disliked member of the board for his overblown sense of self and oily demeanor. Also regarded as having a "Pollyanna" ideology. Has a tendency to make lengthy, explicit posts about his sex life.

• Aimee - Subject of much criticism. Called "a genuinely stupid woman" by a prominent forum member who was since banned twice. Often mocked for bad moderating decisions and really wonky fingernails (they are long, square, plastic, and colored strangely). Overall, a nice person. But she probably shouldn't be a mod. Enjoys her cats (no, not like THAT, you pervs).
• GayBoy - Aimee's partner in the "unnecessary lock" department. Tends to get petulant and post long-winded rants about how difficult it is for him to moderate this forum while still doing his normal job as a policeman. This is almost true, the way he moderates. That is to say, he overmoderates to extremes. Enjoys policing and... well, nobody really knows what he enjoys. GayBoy has recently changed his user name to Jordan after users have discussed his sexuality. Supposedly, claims have been made that he is a pedophile. Upon these allegations, he instantly deleted all posts concerning said topic and banned the users discussing it. GayBoy is the most criticized moderator, and is constantly accused of bullying the other moderators into agreeing with him, not consulting fellow moderators before making decisions, and modding the forum in a fascist manner. Which he does.
• ChingLing - Almost never present for unknown reasons. Not much can be said for ChingLing due to her lack of presence.
• DivaRoxie84 - REALLY never there. At all.
• Mumsytype - A very motherly and overall nice person. She's had much vested in musicals.net ever since joining when a wild, rampant troll was harassing one of her daughters. Not much can be said about her moderating abilities as she only became a mod recently.
• JP - Mumsy was speculated to have been brought in to replace this guy. JP was sort of "the people's mod." He was the one people got along with the most. Unfortunately, a drunken post landed him in the mod doghouse for using foul language. He got one of the infamous "warnings." Eventually, he resigned from his post and joined up more permanently with a website founded by banned members and their cronies.
