Unforgettable Events

moot opens up 4chan.net, promptly loses his hosting.

MySpace was born. Tom sells out shortly afterwards.
The Space Shuttle Columbia Disaster.
Collyfornia: Burn baby, Burn. (The first of many summers to burn.)
America wins the war by catching Saddam Hussein, and so the conflict in Moonspeakistan ends.
The 90's truly ended in 2003.
Star Wars Kid saved the galaxy from asshole Sith from picking on Younglings.
Mr. Rogers finally dies.
Some famous whale beached itself.
Pretty much the modern, meme spewing internet began. For proof, just look at the memes that came out of the 2004 presidential election compared to any time before that.
