4anon is a Kusaba based image board that uses yotsuba code influence and is moderated by anonymous and is aimed to make a board specifically for where Project Chanology can congregate. 4anon.org is an attempt at being a notable /i/nvasion headquarter like 30chan used to be, and it's believed strongly by many people that Samuel L. Jackson is the sole creator of the board. This chan has a no policy rule on what is posted in /b/ other than illegal content, however they claim to "Encourage" win over fail. According to the anonymous too much fail, leads to copypasta and cancer. Excessive spam is deleted almost right away and the anonymous there do not forgive. However, during certain times, it is known to go into "Mayhem Mode" where posters can do whatever they want without moderation. This of course, is just in /b/. This probably won't last long, and is only happening now to increase traffic. They are notably known for having a flash "Original content" image bar on the mian page. This I'm assuming is designed to inspire anonymous posters to post "OC" as often as possible. The reward is that anything original will be archived on the front page. For how long is unknown.

43chan.org is a newly created board to function similar to 4chan and 7chan and is a natural imageboard for posting images.
4-ch
4-ch is a BBS for simple and fun communication. It features an anonymous discussion system, allowing people to talk about a variety of subjects.
Overview
4ch is reportedly run by Squeeks, though recent evidence has shown him to be dead. Threads die at 999 posts, and at this point a DQN will usually start a new thread to continue discussion. This rarely happens as 4-ch's community is pitifully small. Popular 4-ch boards include /DQN/, /love/, and /nihongo/.
4-ch is known mostly for its actual serious discussion of different subjects, as well as its immense love for anything Japanese (read: Densha Otoko).
A big part of 4-ch is /DQN/, also known as "The Faggot Hideout". Basically, this is where all the weeaboo jap-fags gather together to post random 2channel memes. Even though these people don't actually GO to 2channel, they still believe it is funny to post memes that they don't even get. This board is the most active (sadly), and is known to have the highest concentration of waps on the internet. Another thing about 4-ch's culture (or lack thereof) is the fact that it is directly based off 2channel. Because of this, many fags come in and try to use 2channel memes, which usually end up failing. Because it is really just an English 2channel, many Japanese come into the site and speak horrible English for the users. They usually come on trying to get help with learning English or just to chat, but every single board turns into a fight about who gets to talk to the REAL (oh my god) Japanese first.

Quatre Xan or 4xan is an imageboard where Catalan idiom is exclusively used. You can learn that widespread idiom spoken by over 9000 people in four countries. Memes, rages and motivators need to be translated. There's only available the /b/ board (Aleatori) by now.

britfa.gs is an obscure British image board that's also available with frames. Hosted in a shed by a 1337 h4X0r fuelled entirely by tea and hot toast, who quite possibly smokes a pipe. Notable for an unusually helpful /g/ board, a strikingly hideous stuffwehate board, and a mod staff that at least try to keep BNP threads out of /b/.

There are boards for the major vocaloids (/miku/ for Hatsune Miku, /haku/ for doujin vocaloid Yowane Haku, /rin/ for Kagamine Rin/Len), a few pr0n/guro boards, and a festering clump of "off-topic" boards, ranging from classic boards — such as /cats/, /vidya/, /art/, /ot/ — to niche boards such as /touhou/ for the Touhou series and /onoff/ for Uboa and Yume Nikki discussion. Sovjet-Nederland
Sovjet-Nederland, is a soviet themed chan site with "fuck you"-attitude. Previously just a site made by a few classmates under a different URL (namely; glr-gamedesign.nl) to share stuff together, it quickly caught attention of both the dutch media (in some aspect) and other websites (31chan, Fok!forums and GeenStijl).
Though it wasn't called Sovjet-Nederland (Soviet Netherland) at first, on the 11th of November 2008, a piece paper with possible titles was passed around classmates and friends to decide its fate; ultimately having Sovjet Nederland won that poll. Other possibilities include; wargarble.com and hornyunicorns.org, LOL.
It started off really bad with an empty wiki and a Wakaba based imageboard script only used by these classmates and some friends. The entire site was largely overshadowed by its concurrent chan named 31chan, another dutch channel based off of Kusaba X software. However, Sovjet Nederland has gone through several significant changes in both visual and technical aspects--such as having a heavily modified Wakaba script and its own internet TV station--to a point where it became quite popular and enjoyable in Dutchland.
SN has had alot of trouble with staying afloat due to lack of bandwidth but has finally moved to a larger server on 11th April 2009 (and going online again on May 1st 2009, if not sooner). As of this writing (13th April 2009), SN is preparing for a re-launch. Sovjet Nederland was succesfully re-launched on 26th April 2009 and is more than ready for use.
31chan, SN and--a now dead chan--DutchChan.org have made a truce to cooperate for a better Dutch based chan culture, complete with unique memes and other bullshit. They are now part of a larger community going by the name of Henk de Vries, the dutch version of Anonymous.

ZeroChan
ZeroChan.org is ran by an insane spic (spic 2 to most 7channers), Caprisun was finishing his 12th taco as part of his mid-morning snack while browsing /b/. He became angered at his lack of tacos and the poor moderation of *chans when he decided to create his own chan, thus ZeroChan was created on April 4th, 2007 with the intentions of having a chan with maximum lulz and freedom.
During this time there was little traffic to his Kusaba-based imageboard. Upon seeing this Caprisun started to throw tacos at the ceiling while yelling profanities in Spanish for at least over 9000 hours before falling asleep for 96 hours before taking down ZeroChan, for several months. Until he decided at another go with his chan. This time he moved to a dedicated server owned by a friend. When he moved his ZC to Apollo he was greeted with many problems, Apache and PHP proved to be a bitch at first with both of them breaking constantly along with a piece of AIDS called Cpanel, which caused more 500 errors than the shittiest apache config ever written. He grew tired of running a chan once again, leaving it unmonitored for several months before really giving it another chance at his chan.
On January 1st, 2008 the site was given to Necrobilly after he paid Caprisun 1 million tacos and gave him a blowjay. The site is now up and currently active, it has been a safe haven from the fail and aids that most chans bring. A new year brings new hopes for this chan, and we will all enjoy the lulz of watching it once again epilepticly win.
Also, it used to host music for 711chan, because 711chan is to lazy to make their own, and all the mods ban for no raisin but zerochan crashed and the faggots at 711chan were never told it's back again.<--haha n00bs
