What we need

Clean, uncompressed images of Steam Achievements. Ex: Any HL, L4D, TF2 etc etc glyphs.
~~Later on possibly Vectoring ones we don't have and making PNG's of them.~~ There's a [torrent] but it doesn't look seeded. It's only 2.1 megs. I'm hopeing someone is seeding it.
Got hacked Steam? Snap pics of your achievements and upload as PNG files (see specs below).

Image Specs

Uncompressed BMP/PNG screenshots of your achievements. If you feel like coordinating that for a certain game, do it.

Contact me if you're a lazy ass and I'll do all this for you as long as you provide clean screencaps

Not shit ripped off the net. What ever is here now will be for examples/experiments only. Most people who screen their achievements use Windows and save it as a compressed JPG which looks like shit.
As many as you have. Even a few grayed out ones.
Try to add Alpha Transparency to your PNG (see further below). Remove the grey BG and leave just the glyph parts if possible. Only will work possibly for TF2 Ach's. Don't slave over one pic, just try to drop as much of the gray from the glyph as possible. You shouldn't spend more then 2 minutes on one glyph in MS-Paint.
Glyphs are to be 64x64px.

I know I'm breaking a rule but the image is about as clean as it gets. There's no compression marks or JPG compression in the source image.

Ok, here we have a snap of a mock up achievement. We take all the text and crop it out until we have the glyph in a square with a slight lighter gray background from the main achievement window. Feel free if you use Paint (shame on you) to color the lighter gray part white, and then auto-crop it out. you should have a proportional square of equal dimensions.

Next we need to add Alpha Transparency to the dark gray background of the glyph itself. This sill isolate the image and allow it to look pretty and perfect, without a slightly lighter box showing in the template that surrounds the glyph. This makes it look professional and accurate

Your final glyph should be 64x64px

No, those spots of gray are NOT jaggies from JPG compression. Those are actually apart of the glyph and shouldn't be too big of a deal when you overlay them onto the template. Feel free to experiment in your art prog.

To Do (Template)

Put the glyph in a dark gray BG box within the template.
Raise the title and content text just a little to match the original.

I have like 20 done and will come in here and make up achivements. Since your staff, we should make a exploitable template and start getting some of these approved for templates of their own. Maybe make the template name scheme "ach-[one word for the template]". Ex: ach-fattie.
