Too U.S. specific?

Is it worth mentioning that Twinks aren't a purely U.S. phenomenon? I've heard gay friends over here (U.K.) use the word as well, and it might be funny to strike through the US specific references with links to unwarranted self importance. Genghis McBastard 04:25, 16 December 2008 (CST)
