Talk:Fursecution Fox
From Encyclopedia Dramatica
This is supposed to be variations on the Standing Proud image by Taurin Fox, right? Samsara 15:03, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
- Yes --Einsidler 15:06, 30 July 2006 (UTC)
I don't disagree with the title of this article, as the article is referring to the edited images based on the Taurin Fox artwork. When the original picture was first added, the description stated "This is the original Standing Proud image drawn by Taurin Fox to protest banning gay marriage". It was changed somewhere along the line to "Fursecution". While it is funny when furries do bitch about "fursecution", I fail to see the lulz in misrepresenting the intent of the original picture, unless Taurin Fox himself has ever actually used the word "fursecution" in a serious context. - Cause it's funnier to say he's bitching about fursecution. And if it offends him to have his views misrepresented then he's just been fursecuted. --Sheneequa • Talk 14:49, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
- I think anyone would be offended at their views being misrepresented, it doesn't really count as claiming fursecution. I personally think the fact that some furries edited a picture about gay rights to make it a picture about "fursecution", or simply thought that the picture was about "fursecution" in the first place, is funnier than a guy drawing a picture about fursecution. Difference of opinion, I guess. I'd rather ED record lulz and drama as they stand than try to be Uncyclopedia. I don't really want a revert war though. If nobody agrees with me then nobody agrees with me. Ed23 15:03, 10 August 2006 (UTC)
The image actually is to protest the ban of gay marriage. I'm not saying tht should go in the article, though. Samsara 00:11, 11 August 2006 (UTC)
The link on the Paris Hilton picture (the one that searches Google images) now brings up a picture of Pedobear raping Nevada-Tan. Possibility of lulz? GeddyIsGodYYZ 20:55, 23 June 2006 (UTC)
