How Do I Shot Web?

"How do I shot web" is one of the internets' older memes. Although it is of questionable origin, many people believe it had been birthed from a g00n-only Natural Selection server on the Something Awful forums. However, some noobs argue that it originally came from an unfavorable review of Metal Gear Solid on a site similar to Amazon by a grammar-deficient 13-year-old boy, who complained that he could not use the gun, asking others "How do I shot gun?" in the process. Whether or not this is true is currently unknown, and the world may never know. What is known, however, is that the meme eventually traveled to the asshole of the internet where it became the subject of shitty shops and, in effect, unfunny image macros.
Some believe the following shit;
"The meme was created last thursday, during one of those awesome Spiderman games where it said "Press square to shot web" posing the question: "How do I shot web?". The answer is obviously press square, but 4chan haven't worked that out yet."
However, the meme existed before the Spiderman games, hence the community's general shock and joy at 'press square to shot web'. It is unknown who was confused by this.
"Shot web" can be replaced by any past tense verb-noun combination one desires; for example, "How do I ate myself to death?"
