An Analysis for Would-Be Philosophers
real_philosophy started out as a commune for LiveJournal philosophers and devolved into an orgy for Kantian circle jerkers. This Real Domain of the Really Real gave shelter to philosophers such as apperception and mendociloquent for masturbatory purposes, in which a plethora of philosophical lubricants were used in conjunction with the Critique of Pure Reason.
Many not-so-uptight philosophers, such as the famous positivist philosopher and all-round wonderful guy i_am_lane, were banned from this forum due to the privileging of Kantian dogma. Publicly, mendociloquent's reason for banning the users was over some minor trolling.
In the time that has elapsed since the bannings, apperception, mendociloquent, and others have displayed their own hypocritical wankery by creating communities which they would have condemned their rivals for spawning. In light of the free time which they accuse their undergraduate counterparts of having, one wonders how much free time a "graduate student" possesses. However, if their doctorate dissertation happens to be entitled A Voyeur's Analysis on the Free Time of Undergraduates, then such wankery is no longer wankery but only mildly masturbatory.
Because of his moderator status in real_philosophy, it is assumed that mendociloquent played the dominant figure in (his/her/it)'s BDSM relationship with apperception.
