The project still exists, the centre being 888chan Other Chanology-friendly chans include Since the middle of January, after the Church of Scientology tried to remove the internal video of a somewhat fanatical Tom Cruise from the internet - Anonymous's Project Chanology has gone from DDoSing Scientology's Servers into safehaven behind Prolexic Services to Worldwide iRL Raids. While some have argued that DDoSing was ineffective, Prolexic's Basic package fees are $8,000 per month and $8,000 setup per site. Anonymous then thought it seemed that a way to maximize the lulz was to begin a press offensive in order to get the usually scared media to report on Anonymous and their "accusations of human right abuses by the Organization", accompanying these press releases were the now well known YouTube videos "Message to Scientology" and "Call to Action". The worldwide iRL protests began after Wise Beard Man's sage advice to Anonymous that "Scientology is Serious Business", and Anonymous (not being a fan of Bubba's Anal Rape) decided to spew memes and troll Scientology iRL. After some time of frantic activity on various chans the majority of organization and communication began to concentrate itself on the Enturbulation forums that had been setup by some Something Awful Goons initially for noble activities such as "letter writing and information without any of that Lulz nonsense". However with the sudden influx of channers onto Enturbulation the only solution was to attempt to satiate them with their own notorious subforum in which to discuss serious business, Thunderdome. Enturbulation's Thunderdome, whilst the beating heart of Chanology's *chan culture is, as expected, controversial - no more so that when Chanologists at large were informed (via 'leaked private communications') that Marblecake was secretly controlling and manipulating the hivemind using sockpuppets and zomg awesome media skills. The Thunderdome was never the same since that fateful day. Thunderdomers have for the most part been forced to leave the site by Enturbulation.org's Administrator Magoo, and can now be found in their new /td/ treehouse at 888chan.org.
