Otoya was a child star, but the USA version of Rodan had him saying some really retarded dialogue

17-year old AZN Otoya Yamaguchi was an hero who assassinated Japanese politician Inejiro Asanuma on live television, over 100 years ago. He used a wakizashi and stabbed him good. It was the same day that Soviet Premier Nikita Khrushchev banged his shoe on the table at the United Nations.

Wakizashi is a short sword used by samurai. Otoya's wakizashi was used by his grandfather, the famous samurai Toshiro Mifune.

The following week, Otoya hanged himself in his cell at the Children's Jail, using his own bedsheet, thus becoming 切腹

Quite amusingly, just a few years earlier (1956) Otoya had co-starred in the tokusatsu (特撮) movie Sora no Daikaijū: Radon (空の大怪獣ラドン), or as it was called in the shitty USA version, Rodan. Rodan was some kind of flame-throwing dinosaur who flew around Japan fucking shit up, destroying the cities of Sasebo and Yawata -- but not Tokyo!
