Sensible Whatnow?

Has anyone had any experience of this place - www.sensibleerection.com - it is a lulz mine of the highest order, overpopulated with hundreds of self important lol cows who believe that their e-opinions matter and that the INTERNET IS SERIOUS BUSINESS.

I've been trolling there for a while using an ex-members account and it's real easy to administer butt-hurt of an epic scale with a couple of paragraphs of posting (look for a post called "Public Enemy No.1" from yesterday - it'll be pretty easy to work out what name I use).

It has a subsite called "sensibleelection" which seems to be an 8 man circle jerk of political fuckstick jockeys who were too annoying for the main site - this bunch are heavyweight libruhls and even easier to troll.

PLZ ADVZ

After yet another flood of Special:Recentchanges, I have redone the {{PLZ ADVZ}} to automatically rotate on a weekly basis. For the benefit of those who need to know (mainly Hep), the new syntax is thus:

Question goes in [[Template:PLZ ADVZ/Week x, year (Question)]]

Response goes in [[Template:PLZ ADVZ/Week x, year (Response)]]

x is the number of the week. Week 1 would be the first week of January. The current week is Week 7, and the next article will go in Week 8. year is the current year. You don't have to worry about that until 2008.

In addition, there is a third template, at {{PLZ ADVZ/Globalfooter}} that contains the text that appears at the bottom of the page. Self-explanatory, that one.

The column should now automatically rotate itself on Sundays, presuming that is the first day of the week as determined by MediaWiki. --Blu Aardvark 09:35, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

Prime lulz

I would like to nominate Warbears for Article of the Now status. The article is generally lulzy, but, in short, on 2/17/07 we were tipped off to a 5 man raid in progress. The UnSubs took the site down in less than 20 minutes. Lulz aplenty, A++ article. A RAPE SPIDER 13:24, 18 February 2007 (UTC)

LOL. That template was the (unfunny) bone of much contention that led to this, this and this. As a result, it was retired and has gone to the ED Hall of Fame in Ouagadougou, Upper Volta.

The -not so- new criterea for being EDworthy is that an article should make at least one of the following Gods happy: The God of Lulz, The God of Drama and The God of Internets (or any combination thereof). And whilst it should ideally be tangentally Internets related, ED contains so many lulzy articles with no Internets that if we were to go Hutu on such gems as Lisa Nowak we would be left with someting resembling a pamphlet rather than an encyclopædia.

Try the template {links} or {potential} when the {crap}, {crapstub} and {shit} just won't do.
