July 10 - Moot's Identity Revealed

Articles about 4chan appear in the Wall Street Journal and Time Magazine, featuring interviews with Moot himself. Both articles also gave his IRL name as Christopher Poole of Long Island, NY. At first Anons questioned whether it was a fake last name, a ploy to fill /b/ with more newfags, or completely legit; Moot himself then stated on 4chan that "Christopher Poole" was just an act of trolling. However, any /b/tard with half a brain could see this was a lame-assed attempt to cover his tracks, as Moot would not lie to the Wall Street Journal.


July 12 - The Great Habbo Raid of July 2008

Once again the /b/lockaders wrecked their annual havoc on Habbo, however this time it was Habbo Canada that felt their wrath. Achieving a triple kill, they repeated the ruins of The Great Habbo Raid of July 2006 and The Great Habbo Raid of July 2007.
A couple hours into the raid, the Canadian mods realized what was happening and decided to do something about it. "Nigras? In my hotel?" they cried. Alas, it was more likely than they'd thought. However, after the initial shock and BAAAAAWWWWWWW wore off, they pulled their shit together. The High Dive Pool Deck became insta-b& to anyone with a 'fro... including several habbofags, leading to win in the form of racial profiling accusations.
Two days after the main assault raids were still going on, the US Habbo Hotel ended up having to shut the site down for "maintenance," resulting in a definitive win for the nigras.


July 15 - Daniele Fiorenza

The proud parents of an Italian boy transsexual suffering from Keppen-Lubinsky Syndrome thought it would be a good idea to start a website to show off their abomination of a child to the world. Daniele quickly gained a great amount of attention on the web, but not in the way his/her parents had hoped. Since the parents were under the false impression that the internet is a happy, caring place where everyone's feelings are respected, they were shocked and appalled to find that people were making a joke of Daniele's condition and making hilarious shops of his image.
Daniele became something of an internet phenomenon around the web in early to mid July, notably on several Livejournal Communities. Being the mature, understanding adults they are, Daniele's parents took the only reasonable course of action; they began to bitch at, insult, and threaten the LJers, as well as send DMCA requests to the LJ higher-ups to have the pictures removed. The event culminated on the 15th, when the communists that run Livejournal tried to take down a picture of Daniele made to look like the Joker from the new Batman movie, since they were too lazy to actually look into the matter themselves. Needless to say, the fun doesn't stop there. See the article for moar.


July 17 - Mary Alice Altorfer

Mary Alice Altorfer is a paranoid Texan who hosted a visit from her two grandchildren, whose father is African American. The children swam at the River Tree subdivision pool every day for about a week before someone posted a flier on the pool gate bearing a picture of a black man with a large afro haircut, his arms folded across his chest and the words "POOL'S CLOSED" superimposed.
She had mistaken an internet meme for racism and brought in the police in to investigate the matter. This story was covered in a news report on TV, which means The Internet Hate Machine could easy find her dox, and give her some funny calls subsequently did find her dox, and called her over and over again with helpful and encouraging messages of support.


July 23 - CHANPOCALYPSE NAO

Once upon a time, some skiddies at Raidchan/netcollect decided to try and create a chan-apocalypse, and wanted to make the chans blame each other. So they DDOS'ed all the major Chans, Encyclopedia Dramatica, and some smaller sites nobody cares about. But their plan was foiled when a member of their IRC channel saved all the logs where they discussed their operation, and dumped them into pastebin along with their dox.
Initially, the chans blamed the pedos of Anontalk.com, but it turns out they are merely guilty of being sick fucks and spamming /b/.


July 25 - Bedford

Bedford was a Wikipedia admin for a few months in the year of 2008 before having his power stripped away by the hands of none other than Jimbo Wales himself, at the instigation of noted suck-up fatboy Sceptre. After observing that Bedford had posted a "Did You Know..." hook to the front page about a female wrestling match that involved nudity, Sceptre whined about it on the admin board, saying that it was sexist. Instead of telling him to stfu and stop wasting everyone's time, the Wikipedos - no strangers to time wasting - had a massive and involved argument about this, which only ended when former porn webmaster Jimbo hypocritically agreed with the feminazi whiners.
