This is a visual guide to templates that are either rarely used or underused. Sometimes these are underused withgoodreason, but usually they've just been neglected due to lack of awareness.
If you know what you're doing, some of these templates could definitely use some {{work}}; feel free to mess about with them in your userspace if you think you can do better.

Furries have been a source of much humor on this site, but as a furry you must understand:
We are a humor and satire site. Would a supermarket tabloid try to make furries look good?
The depiction of a furry as someone who just likes nonsexual anthromorphic comics and kiddie costumes is boring.
The depiction of a furry who is into lots of freaky sex related to furry fandom and likes sexual-looking animal costumes is more interesting.
The depiction of a furry who is into lots of freaky sex related to furry fandom while going around claiming they just like nonsexual anthromorphic comics as well as starting huge flame wars and making lots of drama to cover it up (e.g. ContiE) is even more interesting.
Someone who the fandom is embarrassed of like WolfJLupus and Ebon Lupus is also entertaining to read about.

Good for expressing personal butthurt or letting a user know that their article was tagged with {{crap}} or {{shit}} due to fail. Probably underused because it isn't that funny.
Gosh, you sure seem enthusiastic, but it looks like you haven't gotten the hang of ED quite yet. But fear not! Great template to use for users who make large or detailed editions to an article that, while well-intentioned, end up violating ED 101 or ED 2.0 guidelines.

There are some terrible inside jokes on ED. Some are alright, but others are simply bad. This is currently only used on a few pages, so make sure to use only where appropriate.

Hey there! We're glad you decided to join the ED crew, it's always good to have another editor. However, you're making a common mistake by doing some stupid bullshit. It's not a big deal, a lot of new people make the same mistake, but it is something we generally try to discourage. If you want some tips on improvement, try reading your welcome message again (It's got a lot of useful links), reading more articles to get the feel of ED, and reading the Style Guide for help. If you have a question, try asking an admin or the person who left you this message for help.
A friendly template with a very unfriendly name. Use as an alternative to {{help}} or to inform a noob that doing something stupid like fucking with Sysops/established editors is a Very Bad Idea.
