This epic phrase was coined by nigra actor Samuel L. Jackson (as Jules), in his tits movie Pulp Fiction.
Jules: "What does Marcellus Wallace look like?" Brett: "What?" Jules: *Overturns table* "What country you from?" Brett: "W-W-What?" Jules: "'What' ain't no country I ever heard of! They speak English in 'What'?" Brett: "...What?" Jules: "ENGLISH, MOTHERFUCKER! DO YOU SPEAK IT?!" Brett: "YES!" Jules: "Then you know what I'm sayin'?!" Brett: "Yes!" Jules: "DESCRIBE WHAT MARCELLUS WALLACE LOOKS LIKE!" Brett: "What? I--" Jules: "SAY 'WHAT' AGAIN! SAY 'WHAT' AGAIN! I DARE YOU; I DOUBLE DARE YOU, MOTHERFUCKER! SAY 'WHAT' ONE MO' GODDAMN TIME!" Current usage
ENGLISH MOTHERFUCKER: DO YOU SPEAK IT!? is the trump card of Grammar Nazis everywhere and the literary counterpart of ad hominem. You can easily disprove an argument, no matter how valid, by pointing out a few spelling and punctuation errors, and blasting the user for failing to put together a complete sentence.
