Futaba Channel, (not to be confused with Futabachannel), also known as 2chan, is a Japanese imageboard, somewhat like a Japanese version of Stormfront, but also having a focus on geek culture. Futaba Channel blocks all non-Japanese IP addresses from posting on the site (omg racist lol!) to keep Korean and Chinese hackers from reading about their own attack plans, to keep evil foreign bastards in general from reading the far-out propaganda cooked up by their collection of Azn Hal Turners, and to keep all the wapanese faggots out (the latter being 100% understandable). However, as well as the Hal Turner types, many 2channers are also porn hoarding and anime obsessed otaku: hell, most of them are the same people. They were there way before 4chan users in terms of sick-fuckery.
The site was the influence that launched 4chan, and thus other Western imageboards to follow. Like most Western weeaboo imitations, the imitators conveniently miss the point of 2chan: basic gathering point for nationalistic hackers and extreme-right politics, which is why it hasn't been banned despite the copyright violations and the huge amount (over four million $US in early 2007) the operator owes in fines and civil suits. According to Japanese customs, if you plan on driving a van into a crowd of people and stabbing them to death , the polite thing to do is post your intentions on 2chan prior. The Japanese have a level of respect for one another you Gaijin cannot understand, durrrrrr.

2chan recently became part of The Chanese Federation. Whoa, really? You are most definitely not being shitted with. The Chanese Federation is a 100% real country located in the North Atlantic between North America and Europe. The real country gained independence on 06/23/08 when the semi-autonomous *chan states of 2chan, 4chan, 420chan, and 7chan joined together. Now all anon have a place to call their own free from typical faggotry but home to brand new faggotry at the same time.
